Trust, Innovation and Export-Quality Work: How Megha Fashion Does It

Ask the people who have been buying from us for years why they keep coming back, and it's rarely about one particular design. It's about trust. Megha Fashion has been in business since 1988, and if close to four decades in this trade has taught us anything, it's that a brand name isn't something you announce. You earn it, one order at a time.

Close to four decades in Gandhi Nagar

We started in 1988 as a family business and we still run like one — the name on our paperwork is Rajesh Jain and Sons. Lehengas, gowns, garara sets and sarees are what we make, and we make them in our own units here in Delhi. That matters more than it sounds. When the work happens under your own roof, there's nobody else to point at when a finish isn't right. You fix it, and you make sure it doesn't happen again.

Over the years that habit has built something we're quietly proud of: a name that store owners and resellers recognise. Some of the buyers who have written about us on Google say they've been ordering from us for ten, even fifteen years. We don't take that lightly. A long relationship in wholesale only survives if every single delivery holds up. You can read a few of their words in our customer reviews.

What trust actually looks like for a store owner

If you run a boutique, you can't afford surprises. The sample you approved should be the piece that arrives. The dispatch date you were given should mean something. The rate you were quoted should still be the rate when the bill shows up. None of this is glamorous, but it's the difference between a supplier you put up with and one you call first when the season starts.

That's the standard we try to hold ourselves to. We would rather tell you honestly what we can and can't do than promise something and miss it. Kind words about our service and quick dispatch mean a lot to us, but what means more is when the same buyer places a second order, and then a third.

Innovation, every single day

Fashion doesn't stand still, so we try not to either. Our design team and our sampling unit are always working on something — new silhouettes, fresh embroidery, different fabrics, new colour stories — so that when you open our catalogue there's usually something you haven't seen before.

You can see this in action on our New Collection page, where the latest launches go up first. The August collection is still there too, because new doesn't mean we forget what's already working. It just means there's always a reason to look again. If you're after a specific kind of piece, our lehenga manufacturing guide is a good place to start.

What "export quality" means to us

Export quality is a phrase people throw around a lot, so here's how we think about it. A piece has to look right on the rack, of course. But it also has to survive being packed, shipped across the world, unpacked and handled by a stranger in another country — and still look the way it did when it left our unit. That comes down to clean finishing, embroidery that's properly secured, fabric that behaves, and packing done with care.

Buyers in the UK, Australia, the USA, New Zealand, South Africa and Indonesia have ordered from us, and one of them wrote that her lehengas reached Australia safely packed. We apply the same standard to every order, including the ones that never leave India, because a store owner in Kerala deserves the same finish as a boutique in London. If you're sourcing from abroad, the details are on our international wholesale and export page.

Where this leaves us

Trust takes years to build and one bad order to damage, so we're not planning to change the formula: honest conversations, new designs and consistent quality, every time. If you're a store owner, reseller or exporter looking for a manufacturer you can rely on, we'd be glad to hear from you. Have a look at the new collection, then message us on WhatsApp or send your requirement through the enquiry form.
